Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Michigan
- Experience working in school-based and pediatric settings highly desired
- Strong assessment, intervention, and case management skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs across multiple grade levels
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and necessary documentation
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other service providers to integrate therapeutic strategies into diverse learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to interdisciplinary teams
- Provide consultation and training to educational staff as needed
