Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes.
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, plans, specifications, and blueprints.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Communicate technical information effectively with customers, team members, and management.
• Follow industry safety standards, practices, and procedures.
• Monitor and verify quality control and consistency of work performed.
• Complete assigned projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Prepare and maintain proposals, reports, schedules, and job documentation as required.
• Measure, cut, bend, and thread conduit and electrical raceways.
• Install, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical systems.
• Mentor and assist apprentices when assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Current Utah Commercial Journeyman Electrician License (required).
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and applicable codes.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights.
• Ability to crouch, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces when necessary.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor job site environments.
