Commercial Journeyman Electrician

Position Overview

We are seeking a Commercial Journeyman Electrician. You will ensure all systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to exact commercial design specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Wiring: Handle all rough-in and finish wiring for specialized hospitality, retail, and office zones.
• Run Conduit: Bend and route EMT, PVC, and MC cables through complex architectural structures.
• Power Distribution: Install and wire commercial panels, transformers, sub-panels, and feeder lines.
• Install Lighting: Setup high-end architectural fixtures, dimming systems, landscape lights, and emergency exit paths.
• Equipment Hookups: Wire commercial kitchen appliances, HVAC units, and clubhouse utility systems.
• Code Adherence: Ensure all installations strictly comply with the current National Electrical Code (NEC).

Required Qualifications

• CommercialJourneyman Electrician experience.
• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• Project History: Prior experience wiring restaurants, retail spaces, or hospitality venues.
• Skills: Advanced blueprint reading, layout precision, and proficient conduit bending.
• Tools: Own a full set of hand tools and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with smart lighting controls or commercial automation systems.
• Experience installing outdoor underground conduit paths or parking lot lighting.
