Are you the problem-solver everyone calls when a press won’t cooperate?

If dialing in a stubborn process, cutting scrap, and teaching others how to run repeatable setups sounds like your kind of day, this role is for you.

What you’ll do
  • Own mold changes, startups, changeovers, and shutdowns per the production plan.
  • Troubleshoot processes, tooling, and auxiliaries to minimize downtime and scrap.
  • Adjust cycle times, part weights, colors, and wall thickness to hit spec—consistently.
  • Assist with resin trials, equipment installations, and process validation.
  • Build and update setup standards and process sheets for each mold/tool.
  • Handle light and preventative maintenance on molds, fixtures, and secondary equipment.
  • Confirm material moisture content before startup; follow established processing specifications.
  • Coach Operators and Supervisors on machine operation, standards, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and drive scrap reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
When you’ll work

B Shift - Monday-Wednesday 12:00pm-6:15pm and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00am-6:15pm.

C Shift - Monday-Wednesday 6:00pm-12:15am and alternating Thursday/Friday or Saturday/Sunday 6:00pm-6:15am.

What you bring
  • 3+ years of hands-on injection molding processing and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in mold setup, optimization, and changeovers.
  • Large-part molding background preferred.
  • Light maintenance know-how to keep equipment in top shape.
  • Ability to read/follow process sheets, setup docs, and quality requirements.
  • Solid computer, documentation, and communication skills (verbal/written).
Environment & physical requirements
  • Office and manufacturing settings.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 15 feet, stand over 8 hours; conditions may be hot, noisy, and dirty.
