Job Description
Bring your dedication and compassion to a supportive elementary school community just north of San Francisco. This full-time, contract opportunity offers three Instructional Aide or Paraprofessional roles for the 2026-2027 school year, helping students succeed in general education settings. Multiple positions are open across several welcoming elementary campuses, collaborating closely with teachers to ensure every child receives tailored assistance.
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or similar role in a school environment
- Willingness to assist young students (Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade) with a variety of needs, including support with toileting/diapering
- Readiness to complete a required paraprofessional training (to be provided)
- Adaptable, patient, and able to create nurturing relationships with children of varying backgrounds and abilities
- Dependability and a positive, team-oriented attitude
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support for general education teachers and students within assigned age groups
- Assist children individually or in small groups, reinforcing learning concepts and encouraging participation
- Help with transitions, routines, and daily care, including feeding or hygiene as needed
- Foster an inclusive, safe atmosphere that helps each child feel valued and empowered
- Maintain clear communication with teaching staff and parents/guardians, supporting student progress and well-being
