Qualifications:

-Active California CTC Mod/Severe credential required
-Special Education teaching experience preferred
-Experience working with high school students with moderate/severe disabilities highly valued
-RSP and Mild/Moderate experience is a plus
-Strong classroom management and instructional skills
-Ability to develop and implement individualized learning strategies
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills
-Compassionate, patient, and student-centered approach

Responsibilities:

-Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services
-Support high school students in a Mod/Severe special education classroom
-Provide instructional support to students in an RSP Mild/Moderate setting
-Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies and accommodations
-Support student academic, behavioral, social, and functional development
-Implement IEP goals and monitor student progress
-Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, families, and related service providers
-Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning
-Maintain accurate student records and documentation
-Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
