Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Bennettsville, South Carolina

Key Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina PTA license required
• Previous experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a schools setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently, while under remote supervision by an off-site Physical Therapist
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility to adapt care across diverse student age groups (K-12)
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage your own daily caseload

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions to K-12 students in person
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ educational and therapy goals
• Implement treatment plans developed by a remotely supervising Physical Therapist
• Accurately maintain timely and confidential documentation of services provided
• Participate in IEP meetings when required and contribute to student goal setting
• Proactively communicate with school staff, parents, and supervisory PT as needed
• Travel to various schools within the district based on assignment schedule

This contract position offers a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours and runs through May 27, 2027. Dates are available for immediate start—jump right in and immerse yourself with a supportive educational team. For this in-person role, familiarity with remote supervision is key, as your direct supervisor will be a VOCO PT.
