Responsibilities:

• Collaborate daily with teachers, aides, therapists, and support staff to implement student-centered strategies
• Provide necessary assistance with toileting, changing, and managing behaviors, always prioritizing dignity and respect
• Support behavior intervention plans and tailored instructional activities to maximize student engagement and safety
• Float flexibly between sites as needed throughout the academic year, adapting to diverse school environments
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere in classrooms serving students with varying abilities

Requirements:

• Active Missouri Substitute Certificate or proof of passing ParaPro Exam, with transcripts verified; must be active to move forward in the interview process
• Ability and willingness to support students with all activities of daily living, including personal care and behavioral interventions
• Flexibility to work across multiple school sites as needs change
• Prior experience in school settings or SPED classrooms is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and confidence in virtual and phone interviews

Schedules are based on school level: middle schools (7:00-2:30), high schools (7:30-3:00), and elementary schools (8:30-4:00 or 9:00-4:30). Multiple positions available, with interviews commencing at the end of August.
