Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Background working with pediatric or school-aged children, ideally in a 1:1 setting
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and engage students
• Strong communication and collaborative skills with teachers, staff, and parents
• Ability to maintain a positive and proactive approach in a classroom environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant certifications are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support to a pediatric student based on specific needs and IEP goals
• Assist with academic activities, daily routines, social interactions, and classroom participation
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to implement instructional and behavioral strategies
• Monitor student progress and adapt support to facilitate ongoing development
• Encourage a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
• Manage daily documentation and communication with the education team as needed
