1:1 Classroom Aide | Liberty, Missouri

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively one-on-one with students
• Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEP) a plus
• Strong communication skills with students, teachers, and parents
• Patient, compassionate, and adaptable in a dynamic learning environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or additional coursework ideal

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a student with unique learning needs
• Assist with academic tasks, daily routines, and classroom engagement
• Foster positive behavior and encourage social interaction
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and support staff
• Help implement and monitor accommodations as directed by the IEP
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as needed
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
