Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists in a Long-Term Care Pharmacy setting by assisting with medication dispensing, inventory management, prescription processing, and other essential pharmacy operations. This role ensures efficient workflow and compliance with regulations while providing quality service to patients and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacists in medication dispensing and order preparation
• Manage inventory and ensure stock accuracy
• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Interact with customers to provide support and answer inquiries
• Enter data and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Support billing and administrative tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in pharmacy operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential
• Familiarity with medication dispensing and pharmacy software
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

We are a LTC closed door pharmacy . HOURS OF OPERATION ARE 9AM-11PM MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
SATURDAYS- 9:30-6, SUNDAYS 12-6PM
