Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician will primarily support the retail pharmacy by assisting with medication dispensing and prescription processing while ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves extensive patient interaction and requires effective communication and collaboration within the pharmacy team. The technician will report directly to the Pharmacist and play a key part in delivering accurate and timely pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately under pharmacist supervision
• Process prescriptions efficiently while verifying patient information
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to patients
• Maintain clear communication with both patients and pharmacy staff
• Support pharmacy operations with attention to detail and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in pharmacy operations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician certification
• Strong skills in medication dispensing and customer service
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
