Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary learners in Rochester, NY as a Speech Language Pathologist. This onsite role is ideal for professionals passionate about advancing communication and language skills in a school-based, pediatric environment while enjoying a predictable 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule. With a manageable caseload focusing on third-grade students, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference and build lasting relationships throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Holds a valid New York SLP license and TSSLD certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric-based speech therapy preferred
  • Skilled in teletherapy methods and diverse SLP healthcare environments
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary team approaches

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services for third-grade students
  • Complete thorough evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation in compliance with school standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and work closely with families, teachers, and other service providers
  • Utilize both in-person and virtual strategies, supporting best practices for inclusive education
