Bring your passion for occupational therapy to a dynamic educational setting, where you’ll impact students with a wide range of needs across multiple sites. This full-time, full-school-year contract opportunity involves working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver essential therapeutic interventions designed to support student success. You’ll collaborate closely with supervising team members and educators across approximately three different locations, providing direct services to students with mild to severe needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
  • IVP Fingerprint Card required prior to start
  • Experience in a school-based setting highly valued
  • Adaptability to work with diverse caseloads, from mild to severe needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an itinerant role, traveling between sites
  • Passion for supporting students’ growth and independence

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students as indicated in IEPs
  • Implement therapeutic strategies and interventions under OT supervision
  • Travel between assigned schools to ensure consistent support
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and supervisors to ensure cohesive support plans
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized student goals
