Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students as a School Psychologist, providing essential part-time support across two elementary schools in the Castle Rock, CO area. This contract opportunity allows you to focus on special education assessment and collaborate with dedicated staff—offering your expertise where it matters most.

In this role, you’ll divide your time between two welcoming elementary schools, spending one day per week (8 hours) at each location in Parker and Franktown. You’ll work directly with students, educators, and families to support positive educational and behavioral outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in K-5 settings strongly preferred
  • Expertise with special education assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and academic evaluations
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, eligibility determination, and special education compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for parent and team collaboration
  • Ability to travel between Parker and Franktown weekly

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations and prepare corresponding documentation
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests to identify students’ strengths and support needs
  • Serve as part of multidisciplinary teams for eligibility meetings and IEP development
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to design and implement interventions and supports
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment and promote student success
