Manage a consistent schedule by dedicating one full day (8 hours) weekly at each school, focusing your expertise where it’s needed most—making a meaningful difference for students.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential appropriate for Colorado schools
- Experience with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and special education assessments
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability to serve two different school environments
- Genuine passion for empowering students and fostering inclusive educational practices
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform individualized and group assessments, primarily focusing on special education evaluations
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other educational staff regarding students’ needs and effective interventions
- Contribute to eligibility meetings, develop intervention recommendations, and support IEP teams
- Collaborate with school staff to promote positive student behavior, mental health, and well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records in accordance with school and legal standards
- Split your professional time between Parker Elementary and Franktown Elementary, providing impactful services to both school communities
