Social Worker | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Two full-time, onsite positions are available at the middle and elementary school levels, providing support and advocacy for students in a vibrant, urban community located near Philadelphia, PA.

Your workday runs from 8:30AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday, with a start date of August 24, 2026 and extending through June 10, 2027. As a key member of a supportive school environment, your expertise will help foster positive educational experiences for children and their families.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active MSW license in Pennsylvania
• Experience within a school-based setting
• Meet PA Department of Education requirements: hold a valid, active School Social Worker Educational Specialist certificate, or have an emergency permit, LSW, or LCSW, and be enrolled in a PDE-approved program
• Ability to obtain and complete all required PA clearances
• Comfortable working in an urban school environment
• Ready for a Zoom-based interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic, social, & behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student well-being and success
• Serve as an advocate connecting students and families to community resources
• Develop and implement intervention strategies addressing attendance, behavior, and emotional needs
• Contribute to IEPs and 504 plans as needed
