Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students across elementary, middle, and high school levels by supporting their diverse needs as an Occupational Therapist in a contract role for the 2026-2027 school year. This onsite position offers a full-time schedule, working Monday through Friday for seven hours each day, providing you the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators, families, and students in a dynamic school environment.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Occupational Therapy License (Dept. of Health)
  • Washington State OSPI ESA certification with OT endorsement (fully licensed)
  • Background and comfort working with a range of disabilities, from mild to severe
  • Experience supporting students at various grade levels (elementary through high school)
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs across grade levels
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans focused on students’ educational success
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure effective integration of therapy goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations for students’ progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Support students in developing functional skills for greater independence within the school setting
