Occupational Therapist School Setting - New Castle, DE

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide essential compensatory services within a supportive school setting near New Castle, DE. Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid licensure as an OT or COTA in Delaware
• Demonstrated practice in school settings, home health, or broader healthcare environments with a pediatric focus
• Strong communication skills to document progress and interact with educators, families, and other providers
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to the diverse individual needs of students
• Understanding of compensatory service requirements and commitment to individualized, goal-oriented care
• Experience with IEPs and collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary school-based team preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy sessions per student IEPs to fulfill compensatory hours
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session outcomes
