Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to the classroom and make a significant impact on students’ lives. This opportunity involves working in educational settings as a long-term substitute or full-time speech therapist, helping students develop essential communication skills for academic and social success.

Current openings include:

  • A long-term substitute role spanning the entire academic year.
  • A substitute position with a defined assignment from early September through late November.
  • A full-time speech therapist position collaborating closely with teachers, support staff, and families.

Key qualifications and skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or equivalent completed/underway.
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatrics is a plus.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for fostering student growth and building positive relationships.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain documentation, progress reports, and follow confidentiality protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to student support plans.
