Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact in early childhood education as a Speech Language Pathologist. This full-time contract position invites you to join a dynamic evaluation team serving an Early Intervention (EI) program with a focus on children in their formative years. Enjoy the collaborative, supportive environment offered by a professional EI Team as you travel within the community, working closely with young learners and their families.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active, or in-process, Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Experience with school-based speech therapy, ideally within early childhood or early intervention settings
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassion, patience, and commitment to supporting young children and their families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to a diverse early childhood caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in the evaluation team for eligibility determinations
  • Develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) in close partnership with families and colleagues
  • Deliver itinerant services in various community and educational settings
  • Maintain ongoing communication and support with educators, therapists, and family members
  • Keep detailed and accurate records in accordance with program and state requirements
