This position spans from August 31, 2026 to June 17, 2027, offering a 40-hour workweek split between two primary sites. You'll make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working closely with a diverse team while maintaining autonomy in a well-supported environment.

In this role, you’ll split your time between Westmoreland Campus—focusing on students with special education needs—and Lane Schools, which emphasizes socialization and behavioral skills. The ideal professional brings hands-on experience with feeding and swallowing (safe eating) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), supporting approximately 33 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP licensure with CCC required
  • Previous school-based SLP experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in feeding/swallowing treatments and AAC strategies
  • Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (SPED, paras, other specialists)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic caseload
  • Experience working with students exhibiting behavioral needs is beneficial

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted speech-language services to students in both life skills and social-behavioral settings
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy, ensuring safe eating practices
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and paraprofessionals
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with IEP requirements
  • Participate in team meetings (virtual or onsite), sharing expertise and supporting peers
  • Adapt to a flexible schedule between campuses

As part of a robust SLP team, you’ll benefit from both on-site assistance and virtual or monthly team collaboration. Enjoy the opportunity to refine your skills and positively impact students’ growth in a setting where your expertise is valued.
