Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of elementary students by providing essential speech and language services within a supportive, collaborative school environment near Santa Clara, CA. As a contract-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll work with a caseload of approximately 55 elementary-aged students, utilizing a 3:1 week model designed for optimal intervention and planning. The school’s environment encourages teamwork among educators and therapists, ensuring you’ll have the support you need to focus on high-quality student care.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current California licensure to practice as an SLP
  • Experience in school settings and with elementary populations preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to begin as soon as possible and commit to a 90-day contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions for elementary students
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and document treatment progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student success
  • Monitor caseload and scheduling within an 8-hour weekly commitment (1–5 days/week)
  • Communicate regularly with families and staff, providing updates on student progress
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to the team
