Make a real difference in students’ lives by providing vital speech and language services in an engaging school environment near Richmond, CA! This contract opportunity allows you to collaborate with diverse learners and passionate educators, helping students reach their full potential in communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid or eligible California state licensure
  • Previous experience working in schools preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative attitude and dedication to student success

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy services to students individually or in group settings
  • Communicate student progress and treatment plans effectively with staff and families
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes according to school policies
  • Participate in IEP and staff meetings, providing expertise and advocacy in speech-language development
  • Offer support and resources to teachers and families to promote carryover of skills in academic settings
