Job Description

Make a positive impact supporting students’ growth and communication development in a dynamic educational setting near Coos Bay. Two contract positions are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about working within both Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education (Birth–5) and K–12 programs.

This full-time opportunity runs five days per week, offering a balanced schedule with a daily 30-minute duty-free lunch and 225 minutes each week devoted to preparation. Enjoy a manageable caseload—specific numbers to be finalized by program administration—so you can focus on delivering quality, individualized interventions and authentic collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current SLP state licensure or eligibility to obtain before the start date
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFs also encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience or strong interest in school-based settings, especially EI/ECSE and/or K–12 populations
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Strong IEP documentation, data tracking, and progress monitoring skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based assessment, therapy, and consultative services for students in both early intervention and K–12 settings
  • Develop, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines for service provision and documentation
  • Utilize provided prep time for session planning, paperwork, and interprofessional collaboration
