School Occupational Therapist | Fairborn, Ohio

Make a meaningful impact supporting students by providing occupational therapy services in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity offers 28 hours per week at a location near Fairborn, OH, with the potential to combine with two other nearby opportunities for up to 40 hours should you desire a full-time schedule. Both experienced Occupational Therapists and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (with supervision available) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & Experience

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or COTA (supervision provided for assistants)
• Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary education teams
• Compassionate, student-centered mindset

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver direct OT services to students per IEP recommendations
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and help set relevant goals for each student
• Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each child within the educational environment
