Pharmacist – Per Diem Coverage, Retail Pharmacy – Blue Springs, MO

This per diem opportunity is ideal for a skilled pharmacist to provide coverage on Tuesdays and during PTO periods at a closed-door retail pharmacy associated with a clinic in Blue Springs, MO. The role supports a growing pharmacy team currently staffed by one pharmacist and requires flexibility to cover sick time as needed.

Schedule:

• Primarily Tuesdays and additional days as needed
• Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• No weekends

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a high-volume setting (approximately 200 prescriptions/day)
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and clinic staff to ensure smooth operations
• Utilize ScriptPro pharmacy automation software (preferred) to facilitate dispensing and inventory management
• Maintain full compliance with pharmacy laws and clinic protocols
• Administer immunizations in accordance with Missouri regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid Missouri State Pharmacist license in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
• Certified Immunizer credential
• Possess a current Notice of Intent (NOI) filed with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy authorizing administration of vaccines or prescription medications
• Experience in outpatient/clinic and retail pharmacy settings preferred
