Staff Pharmacist | Antioch, Tennessee

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialty pharmacy in the Nashville area is seeking a multi-licensed Staff Pharmacist to support clinical management and patient care for complex chronic conditions. This contract to hire opportunity starts ASAP and offers a stable Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and conditions requiring infused medications.
• Provide therapy-specific expertise, including management of factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions.
• Educate patients and families on medication administration, side effect management, adherence, and safe handling at home.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Partner with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance complexities, secure prior authorizations, and identify financial assistance options.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee Pharmacist License with the ability to hold multiple state licenses.
• Experience with CareTend software is a significant advantage; training is available for candidates willing to learn.
• Strong clinical knowledge related to infused specialty medications and patient education.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset.
