We are seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to join our team in Scranton, PA. This position will support pharmacy operations and ensure the safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of medications while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and customer service.
The Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing and verifying prescriptions, evaluating medication therapies, monitoring for potential interactions, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and collaborating with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

Compensation for this role is $130,000 annually.
Main Responsibilities
- Evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions
- Maintains patient database to include appropriate current and past medical history, appropriate clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication
- Ensures that appropriate laboratory tests for monitoring certain high-risk conditions are ordered, evaluated and discussed with appropriate members of the healthcare team
- Obtains, as necessary, and maintains all required documentation in accordance with federal and state regulatory agencies and policy
- Informs the Pharmacist in Charge of medication related errors
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required
- Knowledge of principals related to pharmaceutical preparation and practices
- Licensed Pharmacist listed by the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years' experience as a pharmacist, long-term care or retail pharmacy preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, oral communication
- A combination of comprehensive therapeutic knowledge, problem-solving skills, and judgment is necessary
- Ability to work cooperatively with others; comprehension of the current standards of pharmacy practice; and understanding of the challenges of professional pharmacy practice
- Ability to master computer/software applications necessary for completing job tasks as required
- Ability to manage multiple employees and workloads at once and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Schedule
This is a full-time position. Work schedules may vary based on business needs, operational demands, and site requirements and may be adjusted from time to time in accordance with Company policy.
