School Occupational Therapist - Derry, New Hampshire

From August 2026 through June 2027, you will collaborate with teachers, families, and diverse school staff to ensure students receive the highest level of support in their academic environments. You’ll have the opportunity to utilize your expertise with assistive technology, including AAC devices, and make a direct impact on students’ daily success.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid OT license for New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain prior to the start date
• Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with K-12 student needs, including sensory, motor, and social-emotional skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel between multiple schools
• Experience or willingness to work with AAC devices is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and classroom-based intervention for students across a caseload of kindergarten through high school
• Collaborate on IEPs, assessments, and progress reports
• Consult with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams for individualized student planning
• Adapt strategies and interventions to a variety of educational environments
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in ongoing professional development
