Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to fostering growth in children and adolescents with varying speech and language needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized therapy plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students’ communication goals within the academic curriculum
  • Monitor, track, and report progress regularly
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, accurately preparing documentation and updating therapy goals as needed
  • Provide resources and training to families and staff to generalize communication skills in the classroom and beyond
