Make a meaningful impact working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) in a supportive school environment near Lakewood, WA. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with dedicated educational teams to help students achieve their communication goals and excel academically.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice in educational settings
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain detailed records
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer guidance and resources to staff and parents to reinforce goals outside therapy sessions
