Make a meaningful impact by providing specialized speech-language therapy to students in a supportive, home-based setting near Providence, RI. This contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists committed to making a difference in children’s lives. You’ll conduct two targeted 45-minute sessions per week, delivering crucial care to a student who is immunocompromised and requires exceptional attention and safety.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Rhode Island
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based settings preferred
  • Expertise in delivering services in a home or remote environment
  • Fully vaccinated status required for student safety
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct two 45-minute speech-language therapy sessions per week in the student’s home
  • Develop individualized intervention plans that target the student’s unique needs and goals
  • Collaborate with families to offer guidance, home strategies, and progress updates
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation for compliance and reporting purposes
  • Foster a positive, nurturing environment that supports student achievement
