Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract role supporting students across multiple schools near Scottsdale, Arizona. This full-time opportunity seeks two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to deliver on-site services for the 2024-2027 school years. Each SLP will work closely with an SLPA to provide impactful interventions to a diverse caseload of elementary and middle school students, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona SLP license and fingerprint clearance card (FP card)
- CCC-SLP certification preferred but Clinical Fellows (CFY) also welcome; supervision provided for CFY candidates
- Experience in school-based and pediatric SLP settings
- Proficiency working with diverse populations and caseloads
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site speech-language therapy services for students across two schools (caseloads include pre-K to middle school-aged children)
- Collaborate effectively with SLPAs, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate individualized intervention plans
- Engage in regular communication with families, teachers, and administrators to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all state and district requirements
- Participate in assessment, eligibility determination, and IEP/504 meetings as needed
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and inclusive school environment
