Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials recognized by the state
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a diverse student population
• Comfortable adapting therapy sessions for various age groups and needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect physical therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
• Assess students’ motor skills and functional mobility; create and execute individualized plans to address their objectives
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy into students’ daily routines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute documentation and recommendations for student goals
• Track progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust therapeutic interventions as students’ needs evolve
• Educate staff and caregivers on strategies to facilitate students’ physical development throughout the school day
