Step into a dynamic educational setting near Pittsford, NY, as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis for the upcoming academic year. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure and certification as required for school-based SLPs
  • ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
  • Previous experience providing speech and language services in a school setting is highly valued
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
  • Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to personalized support plans

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Foster positive, supportive relationships with students and their families
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and remain current with best practices
