School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Muskegon, Michigan

This contract, full-time role focuses on supporting 3- and 4-year-old learners, giving you the chance to make a significant difference during these crucial early years. You’ll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (35 hours per week), helping young children develop vital communication skills in an engaging and supportive environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP, Clinical Fellow (CF), or SLPA
• Open to SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellows, and SLP Assistants (supervision provided)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred, but open to new graduates (CFs) and seasoned travelers alike
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers
• Compassion for working with preschool children in a learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for preschool students with speech and language needs
• Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to support student progress
• Monitor and document student advancement, adapting approaches as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program development
