Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a vibrant educational setting. This contract role is available for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in schools near Strasburg, VA, with an assignment running from ASAP through May 28th, 2027. You’ll work exclusively onsite, offering hands-on support and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in Winchester, VA.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Virginia
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to support a full caseload and adapt to school dynamics
  • Commitment to providing direct, onsite services (virtual solutions not available for this assignment)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to students based on individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to guide therapy
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and district policies
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and team consultations
  • Foster a positive, inclusive school environment that supports communication and academic growth

This contracted position offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, structured for in-person service, allowing you to immerse yourself in the school community and directly impact students’ daily experiences.
