Inpatient Staff Pharmacist, Travel Contract, Berlin New Hampshire

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are looking for an experienced inpatient pharmacist who is comfortable working independently and ready to jump into a full-service hospital supporting ICU, Labor and Delivery, Medical Surgical, and Emergency Department patients. Employment Type: Travel Contract

Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Work Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week. Rotating weekend coverage every third weekend, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Systems: Meditech, Omnicell

Responsibilities

-Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services across ICU, Labor and Delivery, Medical Surgical, and -----Emergency Department.
-Verify and process medication orders using Meditech
-Manage Omnicell automated dispensing throughout the facility
-Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care
-Work independently on weekend shifts, which are shorter and very manageable
-Ensure safe medication dispensing and compliance throughout all operations

Experience

-Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience required
-Must be comfortable working independently, especially on weekend shifts
-Meditech experience preferred
-Omnicell familiarity a plus

Qualifications

-Active New Hampshire Pharmacist License required or willing to obtain
