Key Qualifications:

• Active California Moderate/Severe teaching credential (required)
• Prior experience teaching students with autism in a high school environment preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom culture
• Ability to develop and implement differentiated instruction
• Proficiency in IEP development, progress monitoring, and compliance

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction for high school students in an ESN autism classroom
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student growth
• Develop, review, and implement IEPs in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Maintain clear documentation on student progress and educational plans
• Create a supportive and structured classroom environment that promotes learning and personal development
