Position Summary

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated production equipment and possess the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with:
    • AC and DC motors
    • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
    • Motor controls, starters, relays, and contactors
    • Proximity sensors and limit switches
    • Machine safety circuits
    • Safety relays, light curtains, and gate interlocks
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems from 24VDC through 600VAC.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Ability to use electrical testing equipment, including multimeters.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Stamping press maintenance experience.
  • Experience with Mitsubishi and Omron PLCs.
  • Experience with servos, automated manufacturing systems, and robotics.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial automation equipment.
  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.


Essential Job Duties

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Perform equipment inspections and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work closely with production personnel to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.
