Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant - Direct hire (Permanent) Located - by the Mahwah area ( fully on-site)

Seeking a hands on Senior Accountant to join a growing team that offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of accounting and finance functions in a dynamic environment. Great benefits, 401K (match) plus bonus.

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of monthly P&L statements with variance analysis against budget and forecasts.
• Prepare and submit required financial reporting packages to headquarters.
• Review and validate balance sheet and income statement reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the development and execution of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Support mid-year and year-end close processes, including intercompany reconciliations and preparation/posting of journal entries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of general accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - a must
