If you enjoy public accounting but are ready for a firm that values flexibility, mentorship, and long-term career growth, this is an opportunity worth exploring.

I'm partnering with a growing and highly respected CPA and wealth advisory firm that's changing the way tax professionals build their careers. Rather than focusing solely on compliance, their team works collaboratively across tax, accounting, and wealth management to provide proactive planning and advisory services that make a real impact for clients.

You'll gain exposure to sophisticated tax work, build strong client relationships, and work alongside experienced professionals who are committed to helping you continue growing your career.

Why You'll Want to Consider This Opportunity

  • Hybrid schedule with one work-from-home day each week
  • Reasonable busy season expectations compared to many public accounting firms
  • Strong mentorship from experienced tax leaders
  • Opportunity to expand your advisory skills—not just prepare returns
  • Clear career progression with long-term advancement opportunities
  • Collaborative, team-oriented culture that values professional development

What You'll Do

As a Tax Senior, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service while continuing to develop your technical and advisory expertise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, trust, and estate tax returns
  • Assist clients with proactive tax planning and advisory strategies
  • Research complex tax issues and identify planning opportunities
  • Partner with accounting and wealth management professionals to deliver integrated client solutions
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
  • Mentor and support junior staff members
  • Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations
  • Contribute to process improvements and the continued growth of the tax practice

What They're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA or EA license, or actively pursuing certification
  • 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Experience preparing and reviewing individual and pass-through entity tax returns
  • Strong understanding of federal and multi-state taxation
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Experience with CCH Axcess is a plus
  • A team player who enjoys collaborating and continuing to learn

Compensation & Benefits

This firm offers an outstanding overall package, including:

  • Competitive salary
  • Performance bonus opportunities
  • Hybrid work flexibility
  • Flexible Paid Time Off
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • HSA & FSA options
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Continuing education and CPA support
  • A collaborative environment where your career—not just your utilization—is a priority
