Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

A well-established, high-performing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated attorney to join its growing litigation team. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of plaintiff personal injury experience in New York and is confident handling cases independently from intake through resolution. Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of approximately 100–110 plaintiff personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and experts throughout the litigation process.
• Take and defend depositions, attend court appearances, and represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
• Develop litigation strategy and work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Stay current on New York personal injury law and litigation trends.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active New York Bar admission in good standing.
• 5–10 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience with a strong focus on New York matters.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload from intake through resolution.
• Strong litigation skills, including drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and appearing in court.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a collaborative, results-driven environment.
