A well-established Personal Injury law firm is seeking an experienced Plaintiff's Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal for their growing office in Boynton Beach.

This is a full-time, in-office position from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, flexible schedules are offered within the litigation department on a case-by-case basis. There exists the possibility of some remote work if needed, but in-office is preferred.

The right candidate will be reliable, highly organized, and able to work independently when needed in matters relating to court filings, legal research, drafting pleadings/discovery, drafting motions, and pre-trial and trial preparations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of recent, hands-on plaintiff-side Personal Injury litigation experience. Candidates must have independently supported cases through written discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparation. Personal Injury Paralegal with Trial Experience is preferred.
- Licensure / Certification: Solid work experience in the plaintiff's personal injury legal field is what we are looking for. Paralegal Certificate or Florida Bar Certification is not required.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in CloudLex or other comparable case management software; state E-Filing and Federal PACER systems; motion preparation; pre-trial and trial preparations. Ability to prepare attorneys for court hearings, set hearings/depositions/mediations, and manage calendar deadlines.
- Legal Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Florida & Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Excellent organizational and writing skills.
- Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Spanish (Hablamos Español). Multi-lingual is a plus. Great communication skills required.
Key Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from the filing of a complaint through settlement or trial under attorney supervision. Maintain accurate case-management records, correspondence, task lists, and filing systems while providing proactive status updates.
- Pleadings & Discovery: Draft complaints, answers, motions, notices, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, deposition materials, and other litigation documents. Coordinate and track written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, authorizations, and deficiency follow-up.
- Evidence & Medical Analysis: Obtain, organize, and analyze medical records, medical bills, employment records, insurance documents, photographs, and other evidence. Prepare medical chronologies, treatment summaries, damages calculations, discovery summaries, and case timelines.
- Calendar & Docket Control: Calendar and monitor statutes of limitation, discovery deadlines, court appearances, depositions, expert deadlines, mediations, pretrial conferences, and trial dates.
- Filings & Logistics: File and serve pleadings in state and federal courts using applicable electronic filing systems while ensuring compliance with court and local rules. Coordinate depositions, independent medical examinations (IMEs), expert evaluations, mediations, hearings, and trial-related logistics.
- Client & Third-Party Communication: Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, experts, insurance representatives, court personnel, and vendors.
- Deposition & Trial Support: Assist attorneys with deposition and witness preparation, including organizing exhibits, records, summaries, and impeachment materials. Support trial preparation by creating exhibit and witness lists, organizing trial binders, preparing subpoenas, coordinating witnesses, and managing courtroom materials.
- Mediation Prep: Prepare matters for mediation and settlement conferences, including assembling supporting documentation and settlement materials.
- Proactive Case Management: Identify missing evidence, approaching deadlines, discovery issues, and other potential case problems before they affect the client’s matter.
- Confidentiality: Protect confidential and privileged information and comply with all ethical and professional-responsibility requirements.
