Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies for a diverse K-12 student population
  • Strong commitment to fostering students’ independence and participation in school activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive OT services to K-12 students with varied needs
  • Perform assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions
  • Support students in building skills for classroom participation, daily living, and motor development
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in alignment with IEP goals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed
