Qualifications & Experience:

• Active substitute certification through DESE is required
• Recent fingerprinting for district compliance (each Missouri district uses specific codes)
• Experience in school or behavioral support settings
• Dependable and punctual, with reliable transportation
• Ability to build rapport and support students’ educational needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer individualized, one-on-one support for a student at Chapel Hill Elementary
• Assist with daily classroom activities and help maintain an optimal learning environment
• Foster inclusion and positive behavioral support
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, school staff, and administrators
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality at all times

Additional Details:

• Contract assignment, starting ASAP and running through October
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:25 pm
• Participate in a two-step interview process: initial prescreen followed by a district interview
