Make a difference in a student’s life this fall as a contract paraprofessional working 1:1 at a vibrant elementary setting just outside Kansas City, MO. What We’re Looking For:
- Active Substitute Certificate on DESE (required)
- Experience in school settings, especially supporting student behaviors
- Reliable transportation to and from the location
- Availability to start as soon as possible and continue through the end of October
- Willingness to complete district-specific fingerprinting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a 1:1 support for a student at the elementary level throughout the school day
- Support instructional activities under the guidance of licensed educators
- Assist with behavior management and engagement
- Help maintain a safe, caring learning environment
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure student success
