Travel Pharmacist

This is a great opportunity for an experienced pharmacist looking to travel, gain IHS experience, and work in a unique rural setting. The assignment is expected to move quickly and offers exposure to inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services across a wide range of patient populations.

Position Details:

• 13-week travel contract
• 7on/7off rotation
• Work week: Wednesday-Tuesday
• Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-9:00 PM
• Saturday-Sunday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Pay: $2,600 - $3,000/week +
• No AZ license required; any active U.S. pharmacist license accepted
• Local housing on the reservation may be available
• Alternative housing may be available in Flagstaff for approximately $600/month if available

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services
• Support inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations
• Provide direct patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric populations
• Perform clinical pharmacy services and medication management
• Work with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
• Support pharmacy policies, procedures, and daily operations

Requirements:

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-recognized school
• Current, unrestricted pharmacist license in any U.S. state/territory or D.C.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience
• Minimum 1 year of clinical pharmacist experience
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start
