Travel Pharmacist – Mid Shift
📍 Tucson, Arizona
We are seeking an experienced Travel Pharmacist for a mid-shift opportunity in Tucson, AZ. This is a hospital-based role in a high-acuity acute care setting.
Shift Details:
12:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Wednesday – Tuesday schedule
The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of medications to patients of all ages within the hospital. This role ensures compliance with all state, federal, DEA regulations, TJC standards, and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with physicians on drug therapy and dosing
Review patient profiles for safety and accuracy
Monitor and report adverse drug reactions
Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements
Support medication safety initiatives
Provide medication education to nursing staff, patients, and physicians
Maintain narcotic accountability
Active Arizona Pharmacist License (Required)
Minimum 3+ years of hospital experience in a high-acuity acute care hospital
Experience in NICU
Experience with cardiac cases including Impella and ECMO
